Intercultural Communication Consultant, Psychotherapist and Coach

Irina Chongarova-Aron PhD is an Intercultural Communication Consultant, Psychotherapist and Coach. She is linguist by academic background. Prior to establishing her independent Intercultural Communication Consultancy, she developed an academic career as a researcher and lecturer in Intercultural Communication at the University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and internationally. She is an Associate Professor in Intercultural Communication.
Her interests in socio-cultural and psycholinguistic aspects of migration brought her to London where she worked on various projects at the intersection of international mobility, language and, sociocultural processes. She completed an MA at the Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies at the Essex University while training at the Tavistock Centre in London. She is a Registered Member of the Coaching Division of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
